     William Courtenay Vyvyan was born in 1834.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Richard Vyvyan and Margaret Anne Edwards.² He married Catherine Horlor Stafford, daughter of John Stafford, in 1859.¹ He died in March 1870.¹
     He gained the rank of Ensign in the 4th Regiment.¹

     Catherine Horlor Stafford was the daughter of John Stafford.² She married William Courtenay Vyvyan, son of Lt.-Col. Richard Vyvyan and Margaret Anne Edwards, in 1859.¹ She died in 1891.¹
     From 1859, her married name became Vyvyan.

     Kate Courtenay Vyvyan was born on 13 March 1865.¹ She was the daughter of William Courtenay Vyvyan and Catherine Horlor Stafford.² She married Harold Oxley Chamberlain Smith in 1890.¹ She died on 21 February 1957 at age 91.¹
     From 1890, her married name became Smith.

     Harold Oxley Chamberlain Smith married Kate Courtenay Vyvyan, daughter of William Courtenay Vyvyan and Catherine Horlor Stafford, in 1890.¹ He died in 1919.¹
