     Donough Noel Digby-Johnson was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1905 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He gained the rank of First World War between 1916 and 1918 in the service of the in Flanders.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1920 in the service of the RARO.1 He adopted Peter Sprague Digby-Johnson.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1937 in the service of the Officers' Emergency Reserve.1
