Francis Dighton Annesley, 14th Viscount of Valentia was born on 12 August 1888.1 He was the son of George Dighton Annesley and Elizabeth Sophia Watson.2 He married Joan Elizabeth Curtis, daughter of John Joseph Curtis, on 8 August 1925.1 He died on 16 March 1983 at age 94.1
He was educated at St. Lawrence College, Ramsgate, Kent, England.1 He was educated at Guy's Hospital Medical School, London, EnglandG.1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.) in 1914.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Army Medical Corps.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre Belgium.1 He fought in the Afghanistan Campaign in 1919.1 He fought in the North-West Frontier between 1922 and 1923.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Annesley, of Mountnorris, co.
