     William de Urchard was born circa 1275.1 He married Lillias de Ross, daughter of William de Ross, 3rd Earl of Ross.1 He died circa 1348.1
     Between 1297 and 1328 he was a supporter of King Robert I in the struggle for independence against English.1 He commanded forces defending the Mote-hill of Cromarty.2

Adam de Urchard of Inchrory1

     Adam de Urchard of Inchrory was born circa 1310.1 He was the son of William de Urchard and Lillias de Ross.2 He married Brigida Fleming, daughter of Robert Fleming of Cumbernauld.1 He died circa 1385.1
     He was Hereditary Sheriff of Cromarty.1 In 1338 he received a Charter of all the lands of Inchrory in Ross from William, Earl of Ross.2 He was he had confirmation from King David II of a Charter whereby the Earl of Ross granted him the hereditary office of Sheriff of Cromarty in 1358.2
