Louisa Jane Gurney was the daughter of Daniel Gurney and Lady Harriet Jemima Hay.2 She married Sir Thomas St. Vincent Hope Cochrane Troubridge, 3rd Bt., son of Rear-Admiral Sir Edward Thomas Troubridge, 2nd Bt. and Anna Maria Cochrane, on 1 November 1855.1 She died on 29 August 1867.1
From 1 November 1855, her married name became Troubridge.

Sir Thomas Herbert Cochrane Troubridge, 4th Bt. was born on 13 September 1860.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas St. Vincent Hope Cochrane Troubridge, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Jane Gurney.2 He married Laura Gurney, daughter of Charles Henry Gurney and Alice Marie Prinsep, on 13 July 1893.1 He died on 5 December 1938 at age 78.1
He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Troubridge, of Plymouth, Devon [G.B., 1799] on 2 October 1867.1 He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1
