     Sir Gerald Reid Barry was born on 20 November 1898 at Fairfax, Berrylands Road, Surbiton, Surrey, England.1 He was the son of Reverend George Ducan Barry and Edith Geraldine Reid.1 He married, firstly, Gladys Ida Williams, daughter of George Chisholm Williams, in 1921 at St. Marylebone All Saints, St. MArylebone, London, England.1 He and Gladys Ida Williams were divorced.1 He married, secondly, Helen Edith Selwyn Rigg, daughter of Richard Rigg, in 1932.1 He and Helen Edith Selwyn Rigg were divorced in 1943.1 He married, thirdly, Vera Poliakoff, daughter of Vladimir Poliakoff, in 1944.1 He and Vera Poliakoff were divorced.1 He married, fourthly, Diana Wooton in 1959.1 He died on 21 November 1968 at age 70 at London, England.1
