     Margaret Jean Trevelyan was the daughter of Sir Charles Edward Trevelyan, 1st Bt. and Hannah More Macaulay.2 She married Henry Thurstan Holland, 1st Viscount Knutsford, son of Sir Henry Holland, 1st Bt. and Margaret Emma Caldwell, on 25 November 1858.1 She died on 26 August 1906.1
     From 25 November 1858, her married name became Holland.1 After her marriage, Margaret Jean Trevelyan was styled as Lady Knutsford on 23 February 1888. After her marriage, Margaret Jean Trevelyan was styled as Viscountess Knutsford on 3 August 1895.
