     Sir Frederick Charles Thomson of Glendarroch, 1st Bt. was born on 27 May 1875.1 He was the son of James Wishart Thomson and Barbara Gray Cunningham.2 He married Constance Margaret Hotson, daughter of Hamilton Andrew Hotson, on 7 April 1904.1 He died on 21 April 1935 at age 59.1
     He was also known as 1st Baronet (UK) [U.K. Life Peer].1 He was Advocate , barrister 1904, Lieutenant Lovat Scouts and Scottish Horse WW I Egypt and Salonika, Member of Parliament (M.P.) (U) S Aberdeen, PPS to Sir Robert Horne, GBE, PC, 1919–22, a Lord Commissioner of Treasury 1923 and 1924–28, Slr-Gen Scotlan in 1901.1 He was King's Counsel (K.C.) (Scotland ) in 1923.1 On 28 March 1929 so created.1
