     Albert Vernard Lavis lived at Toronto, Ontario, Canada.¹

     Nora Marilyn Lavis was the daughter of Albert Vernard Lavis.² She married Kenneth Roy Thomson, 2nd Baron Thomson of Fleet, son of Roy Herbert Thomson, 1st Baron Thomson of Fleet and Edna Alice Irvine, on 13 June 1956.¹ She died on 23 May 2017.³
     From 13 June 1956, her married name became Thomson. After her marriage, Nora Marilyn Lavis was styled as Baroness Thomson of Fleet on 4 August 1976.

     David Kenneth Roy Thomson, 3rd Baron Thomson of Fleet was born on 12 June 1957.¹ He is the son of Kenneth Roy Thomson, 2nd Baron Thomson of Fleet and Nora Marilyn Lavis.² He married, firstly, Mary Lou La Prairie in 1988.³ He and Mary Lou La Prairie were divorced in 1997. He married, secondly, Laurie Ludwick in 2000.³ He and Laurie Ludwick were divorced in 2006.
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Thomson of Fleet, of Northbridge, City of Edinburgh [U.K., 1964] in 2006.¹

     Hon. Peter John Thomson was born on 25 April 1965.¹ He is the son of Kenneth Roy Thomson, 2nd Baron Thomson of Fleet and Nora Marilyn Lavis.²
