     Edward York was born on 6 January 1802.2 He was the son of Richard York and Lady Mary Anne Lascelles. He married Penelope Sykes, daughter of Reverend Christopher Sykes and Lucy Dorothea Langford, on 25 November 1837.1 He died in 1861.2
     He lived at Wighill Park, Wighill, Yorkshire, England.1
