Richard Sykes1

     Richard Sykes was born in 1678.1 He was the son of Daniel Sykes and Deborah Oates.2 He married, firstly, Mary Kirkby, daughter of Mark Kirkby, on 22 June 1704.1 He married, secondly, Martha Donkin, daughter of William Donkin, on 3 August 1721.1 He died in 1726.1
     At Hull, Yorkshire, England, a merchant.1 He also had three daughters (died unmarried).1

     Mary Kirkby was the daughter of Mark Kirkby.1 She married Richard Sykes, son of Daniel Sykes and Deborah Oates, on 22 June 1704.1 She died on 4 April 1714.1
     In 1540 (an unknown value).1 From 22 June 1704, her married name became Sykes.
