     Jeltje de Boer was born in 1924 at Friesland, The Netherlands. She was the daughter of Scholte de Boer.2 She married Henry Mounteney Stracey, son of Lt.-Col. Ernest Henry Denne Stracey and Faith Dorothy Beatrice Mounteney Popham, in 1961.1 She died in January 2016.3
     From 1961, her married name became Stracey.

     Reginald George Stracey was born on 12 September 1881.1 He was the son of Gilbert Hardinge Stracey and Louisa Anne Groucock.2 He died on 1 January 1915 at age 33, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Boer War.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Guards.1

     From 19 July 1910, her married name became Carey.
