     Hon. George Charles Brodrick was born on 5 May 1831.1 He was the son of Reverend William John Brodrick, 7th Viscount Midleton of Midleton and Hon. Harriet Brodrick.1 He died on 8 November 1903 at age 72, unmarried.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)1 He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Oxfordshire.1
