William Skipwith was the son of Sir William de Skipwith and Alice de Hiltoft.2 He married, firstly, Catharine Aswardby, daughter of Roger Aswardby.1 He married, secondly, Catherine d'Averinges, daughter of Edmund d'Averinges.1 He died in 1401.1
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.1 He was Commissioner of Array for Yorkshire in 1376.1 He was Escheator for Lincolnshire and Yorkshire in 1380.1 He was Commissioner of Array for Parts of Lindsey in 1382.1 He was Alnager of Yorkshire in 1394.1

Catharine Aswardby was the daughter of Roger Aswardby.2 She married William Skipwith, son of Sir William de Skipwith and Alice de Hiltoft.1 She died, without issue.1

Elizabeth Skipwith was the daughter of William Skipwith and Catharine Aswardby.2 She married George Monboucher, son of Asir Nicholas Monboucher.1 She died in 1412/13, without issue.1

Sir John Skipwith is the son of Sir William de Skipwith and Alice de Hiltoft.2 He married Alice Tilney, daughter of Sir Frederick Tilney.1 He died on 15 July 1415, with an eldest son (William, d without issue & vp) and two younger sons (William, of Louth, living 1472.1
He was Patrick, Member of Parliament (M.P.) and 1433, married Agnes, daughter and heir of Sir Thomas Hawley, of Utterby, Lincs, Lincs 1427.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1394.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1397.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1399.1 He was appointed Knight in 1399.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire from 1406 to 1407.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire in 1414.1 In 1650 who died out c , and the SKIPWITH s of Snore, Norfolk, who died out after 1660).1
