     Julia Loftie was born on 29 September 1773 at Wingham, Kent, England.1 She was the daughter of Reverend John Loftie and Charlotte Billington.1 She married William Dorset Fellowes, son of William Fellowes and Mary Butler, on 21 November 1796 at Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa.1 She died in September 1850 at Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England.1
     From 21 November 1796, her married name became Fellowes.1

     John Gilbert Simon, 2nd Viscount Simon was born on 2 September 1902.2 He is the son of John Allsebrook Simon, 1st Viscount Simon and Ethel Mary Venables.2 He married Christie Hunt, daughter of William Stanley Hunt, on 22 December 1930.2 He died in 1993.2
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was with Ministry of War Transport between 1940 and 1947.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1947.2 He was managing director of P&O Steam Navigation Company between 1947 and 1958.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Simon, of Stackpole Elidor, co. Pembroke [U.K., 1940] on 11 January 1954.1 He was awarded the Officer, Order of Orange of Nassau.2 He held the office of Elder Brother, Trinity House in 1975.1

     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1

     Hon. Joan Angel Allsebrook Simon was born on 8 August 1901.1 She was the daughter of John Allsebrook Simon, 1st Viscount Simon and Ethel Mary Venables.2 She married Captain John Allan Bickford-Smith, son of Roandeau Albert Henry Bickford-Smith, on 11 February 1924.1
     From 11 February 1924, her married name became Bickford-Smith. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire in 1942.1
