     Teresa Frances Tweedie was born on 14 May 1940.1 She is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Hugo Edward Forbes Tweedie and Hon. Prudence Mary Addington.2 She married Nicolas Alexander Victor Garratt Carp, son of Victor Alexander Carp and Yvonne Rita Sarah Frances Jesty, on 23 May 1964.1
     From 23 May 1964, her married name became Garratt Carp.

     Victor Alexander Carp was born on 12 October 1918 at Frodsham, Cheshire, England.2,3 He was the son of Reverend Alexander Nahum Carp and Beatrice M. Garratt.2,4 He married Yvonne Rita Sarah Frances Jesty on 1 March 1941 at St. Augustine's, Bournemouth, Dorset, England.3 He died on 30 May 1942 at age 23 at Egypt, killed in action.2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.3 He fought in the Second World War.5 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Tank Regiment.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1940 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)3

     Nicolas Alexander Victor Garratt Carp was the son of Victor Alexander Carp and Yvonne Rita Sarah Frances Jesty.2,3 He married Teresa Frances Tweedie, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Hugo Edward Forbes Tweedie and Hon. Prudence Mary Addington, on 23 May 1964.1 He died on 22 March 2010.4
     He was registered as a Member, Institute of Chartered Accountants (A.C.A.)1
