     Captain Hon. John Marie Joseph Horatio Nelson was born on 21 July 1908.¹ He was the son of Edward Agar Horatio Nelson, 5th Earl Nelson of Trafalgar and of Merton and Geraldine Cave. He married Kathleen Mary Burr, daughter of William Burr, in 1941.¹ He died in 1970.¹
     He was educated Ampleforth.¹ He was Captain Royal Artillery WW II.¹ He lived in 2003 at 306 Chartleigh Ho, Beach Rd, Sea Point, Cape Town 8001, S Africa.¹

     Kathleen Mary Burr is the daughter of William Burr. She married Captain Hon. John Marie Joseph Horatio Nelson, son of Edward Agar Horatio Nelson, 5th Earl Nelson of Trafalgar and of Merton and Geraldine Cave, in 1941.¹
      Her married name became Nelson. She lived Torquay.¹ She was also known as Kathleen Mary Burr.¹ Her married name became Nelson.

     William Burr died before 1963.
     He was also known as William Burr.¹ He lived at Torquay, Devon, England.

     Peter John Horatio Nelson, 9th Earl Nelson of Trafalgar and of Merton was born on 9 October 1941.¹ He was the son of Captain Hon. John Marie Joseph Horatio Nelson and Kathleen Mary Burr. He married Maureen Quin, daughter of Edward Patrick Quinn, in 1969.¹ He and Maureen Quin were divorced in 1992. He married, secondly, Tracy Margaret Cowie, daughter of Raymond James Cowie, on 26 September 1992. He died on 28 March 2009 at age 67.²
     He was County Surrey.¹ He was St Joseph's College Ipswich and Nat/l Institute Ag Lincolnshire.¹ He was former police detective sgt, president Royal Navy Commando Assoc and Nelson Soc, v-pres Jubilee Sailing Tst, chairman Retainacar Ltd, patron Int Fingerprint Society and Clapton Assoc Football Club, memb Ctee of Friends of Nat Maritime Museum.¹ He gained the title of 9th Earl Nelson of Trafalgar and of Merton in 1981.

     Francis Edward Horatio Nelson was born in 1947.¹ He is the son of Captain Hon. John Marie Joseph Horatio Nelson and Kathleen Mary Burr. He married unknown wife (?) in 1973.¹

     Jane Priscilla Nelson was born in 1944.¹ She is the daughter of Captain Hon. John Marie Joseph Horatio Nelson and Kathleen Mary Burr. She married Roy Hannant in 1968.¹
      Her married name became Hannant. She lived in 2003 at 17 Fairways, Mouille Point, Cape Town, S Africa.¹

     Lady Edith Mary Josephine Nelson was born on 10 August 1897.¹ She is the daughter of Edward Agar Horatio Nelson, 5th Earl Nelson of Trafalgar and of Merton and Geraldine Cave. She married Captain Henry Charles Coulston, son of Henry Joseph Coulston, on 6 September 1921.¹ She died on 28 July 1978 at age 80.¹
      Her married name became Coulston.

     Captain Henry Charles Coulston was the son of Henry Joseph Coulston. He married Lady Edith Mary Josephine Nelson, daughter of Edward Agar Horatio Nelson, 5th Earl Nelson of Trafalgar and of Merton and Geraldine Cave, on 6 September 1921.¹ He died on 14 June 1940 at France, while on active service.
     He was Lancashire.¹ He was 1st Battalion KORR (Lancaster).¹ He lived Carnforth.¹ He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹ He was Captain Warwicks Yeomanry (killed in action France ) on 14 June 1940.¹
