     Harry Byam Shelley was born on 14 November 1838.1 He was the son of Adolphus Edward Shelley and Amelie Hinchliffe.2 He died on 14 May 1865 at age 26.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 31st Regiment, Madras Light Infantry.1

     Spencer Shelley was born on 24 December 1813.1 He was the son of Sir John Shelley, 6th Bt. and Frances Winckley.2 He married Susanna Martin-Leake, daughter of Stephen Ralph Martin-Leake and Georgeana Stevens, on 1 February 1843.1 He died on 10 March 1908 at age 94.1
     He was with Treasury.1

Stephen Ralph Martin-Leake1

     Stephen Ralph Martin-Leake was born in 1782.2 He was the son of John Martin-Leake and Mary Calvert.3 He married Georgeana Stevens, daughter of Captain George Stevens, on 18 June 1818 at Old Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He died on 7 April 1865.3
     He was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury.3 He lived at Thorpe Hall, Essex, England.1

     From 1 February 1843, her married name became Shelley.

     Spencer Shelley was born on 24 October 1843.1 He was the son of Spencer Shelley and Susanna Martin-Leake.2 He married, firstly, Mary Renny Watson, daughter of Thomas Watson, on 10 February 1876.1 He married, secondly, Gertrude Hutchinson, daughter of William Henry Heap Hutchinson and Mary Ann Cookson, on 20 June 1916.1 He died on 17 November 1932 at age 89.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucesterhire.1
