     Sir George Herbert Shakerley, 4th Bt. was born on 27 September 1863.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Watkin Shakerley, 2nd Bt. and Georgiana Harriett Ackers.2 He married Evelyn Mary France-Hayhurst, daughter of Colonel Charles Hosken France-Hayhurst, on 22 January 1891.1 He died on 7 August 1945 at age 81.1
     He was given the name of George Herbert Shakerley at birth.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He gained the rank of Captain and Honorary Major in the service of the 5th Volunteer Battalion, Cheshire Regiment.1 On 8 January 1908 his name was legally changed to George Herbert Shakerley-Ackers by Royal Licence.1 His name was legally changed to George Herbert Shakerley.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Shakerley, of Somerford Park, co. Chester [U.K., 1838] on 11 January 1943.1 He lived at Duddleswell Manor, Uckfield, Sussex, England.1

     Ernest Alfred Shakerley-Howell was born on 20 September 1866.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Watkin Shakerley, 2nd Bt. and Georgiana Harriett Ackers.2 He married Rhoda Mary Louisa Howell, daughter of Francis Buller Howell and Mary Beatrice Heywood, on 7 September 1905.1 He died on 22 February 1934 at age 67.1
     He was given the name of Ernest Alfred Shakerley at birth.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.1 He gained the rank of Staff-Captain in 1914 in the service of the Railway Transport.1 On 29 January 1927 his name was legally changed to Ernest Alfred Shakerley-Howell by Royal Licence.1 He lived at Ethy, Lostwithiel, Cornwall, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire, and Liberty of Ripon.1
