Sir Jervoise Bolitho Scott, 1st Bt. was born on 3 February 1892 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.2,1 He was the son of Archibald Edward Scott and Cecilia Maria Bolitho.3 He married Kathleen Isabel Walter, daughter of Godfrey Walter, on 31 January 1924.1 He died on 21 June 1965 at age 73.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1913 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 7th Queen's Own Hussars.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire in 1926.1 He held the office of Member of Hampshire County Council in 1932.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Hampshire in 1936.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hampshire in 1936.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1944 in the Pioneer Corps.1 He was created 1st Baronet Scott, of Rotherfield, co. Sir Oswald Arthur Scott was born on 17 June 1893.1 He was the son of Archibald Edward Scott and Cecilia Maria Bolitho.2 He married, firstly, Hermione Monica Ferrand, daughter of William Ferrand, on 19 May 1917.1 He and Hermione Monica Ferrand were divorced in 1933.1 He married, secondly, Ursula Margaret Wolryche-Whitmore, daughter of Reverend Henry Bazeley Wolryche-Whitmore, on 3 January 1934.1 He died on 19 May 1960 at age 66.1
