     Guy Weston Samuelson was born on 15 December 1890.1 He was the son of Godfrey Blundell Samuelson and Annie Jane Davis.2 He married, firstly, Naomi Leney, daughter of Alfred Leney, on 2 April 1913.1 He and Naomi Leney were divorced in 1927.1 He married, secondly, Francis Crawley Lyne, daughter of Charles Lyne, on 9 December 1927.1 He died in 1973.1
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1

     John Peel Weston Samuelson was born on 13 September 1917.1 He was the son of Guy Weston Samuelson and Naomi Leney.2 He married, firstly, Pamela Winter, daughter of Cecil Esdaile Winter, on 15 September 1943.1 He and Pamela Winter were divorced in 1951.1 He married, secondly, Grace Eleanor Dawson, daughter of Richard Cecil Dawson, on 20 June 1952.1 He died in January 1988 at age 70 at Lambeth, London, England.1,3
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Palestine Campaign in 1938, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1939.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the The Buffs.1 He was Assistant Secretary (Military) Cabinet and War Offices between 1945 and 1947.1
