     Catharine Thurlow was born illegitimately.1 She was the daughter of Edward Thurlow, 1st Baron Thurlow of Thurlow.2 She married Alexander George Fraser, 17th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy, son of Alexander Fraser, 16th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Margery Fraser, on 6 March 1815.1 She died on 9 July 1826, without issue.1
     From 6 March 1815, her married name became Fraser.
