     Ada Salt was the daughter of Sir Titus Salt, 1st Bt. and Caroline Whitlam.2 She married Edmund Herbert Stevenson on 11 July 1883.1 She died on 22 November 1935.1
     From 11 July 1883, her married name became Stevenson.

     Emma Dove Octaviana Harris was the daughter of John Dove Harris and Emma Shirley.2,1 She married Sir William Henry Salt, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Titus Salt, 1st Bt. and Caroline Whitlam, on 7 December 1854.1 She died on 1 July 1904.1
     From 7 December 1854, her married name became Salt.

     Sir Shirley Harris Salt, 3rd Bt. was born on 4 May 1857.1 He is the son of Sir William Henry Salt, 2nd Bt. and Emma Dove Octaviana Harris.2 He married Charlotte Jane MacDonnell, daughter of Very Rev. John Cotter MacDonnell, on 9 September 1880.1 He died on 11 February 1920 at age 62.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Breconshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Leicestershire.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Salt, of Saltaire, co. York [U.K., 1869] on 7 July 1892.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1

     Sir John William Titus Salt, 4th Bt. was born on 30 November 1884.1 He is the son of Sir Shirley Harris Salt, 3rd Bt. and Charlotte Jane MacDonnell.2 He married, firstly, Dorothy Baker Brown, daughter of Brig.-Gen. William Baker Brown, on 11 September 1913.1 He and Dorothy Baker Brown were divorced in 1926.1 He married, secondly, Stella Houlton Jackson, daughter of Richard Houlton Jackson, on 25 June 1926.1 He died on 22 January 1953 at age 68.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Salt, of Saltaire, co. York [U.K., 1869] on 11 February 1920.1
