     Peter George Dennis Aizlewood was born on 8 June 1923 at India.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. John Aldham Aizlewood and Margaret Delia Dennis.¹ He married Phayre Marion Margaret Standring, daughter of H. W. Standring, on 7 September 1951 at Warwick, Warwickshire, England.¹ He died on 16 October 2007 at age 84 at Chastleton, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, England.¹
     He was educated between 1936 and 1941 at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant on 20 February 1943.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 7 February 1949.¹ He gained the rank of Captain on 2 October 1950.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire in 1962.¹
