     Sir Henry Russell, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 May 1783.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Russell, 1st Bt. and Anna Barbara Whitworth.2 He married, firstly, Jane Amelia Casamaijor, daughter of John Casamaijor, on 20 October 1808.1 He married, secondly, Marie Clotilde de la Fontaine, daughter of Benoit Monttet de la Fontaine, Baron fieffé de St. Corneille, on 13 November 1816.1 He died on 19 April 1852 at age 68.1
     He held the office of British Resident to Hyderabad.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Russell, of Swallowfield, Berkshire [U.K., 1812] on 18 January 1836.2

     Sir Charles Russell, 3rd Bt., V.C. was born on 22 June 1826.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Russell, 2nd Bt. and Marie Clotilde de la Fontaine.2 He died on 14 April 1883 at age 56, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Russell, of Swallowfield, Berkshire [U.K., 1812] on 19 April 1852.1 He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) in 1854.1 He fought in the Crimean War.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Berkshire between 1865 and 1868.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Warminster between 1874 and 1883.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.1
