     John Beverley Robinson was born on 20 February 1820.1 He was the son of Sir John Beverley Robinson, 1st Bt. and Emma Walker.2 He married Mary Jane Hagerman, daughter of Christopher Alexander Hagerman, on 30 June 1847.1 He died on 19 June 1896 at age 76.1
     He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of President of the Executive Council [Canada] in 1862.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [Upper Canada], for West Toronto.1 He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario between 1880 and 1887.1

     Mary Jane Hagerman was the daughter of Christopher Alexander Hagerman.2 She married John Beverley Robinson, son of Sir John Beverley Robinson, 1st Bt. and Emma Walker, on 30 June 1847.1 She died on 18 January 1892.1
     From 30 June 1847, her married name became Robinson.

Sir Alexander Fleming1

     Sir Alexander Fleming was born on 6 August 1881 at Darvel, Ayrshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Hugh Fleming and Grace Morton.1 He married, firstly, Sarah Marion McElroy in 1915 at Marylebone, London, England.1 He married, secondly, Amalia Vourekas in 1953 at Chelsea, London, England.1 He died in March 1955 at age 73.1
     He was educated between 1901 and 1906 at St. Mary's Hospital, Praed Street, Paddington, London, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, in the Royal Army Medical Corps.1 In 1928 he discovered penicillin.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1943.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1944.1 He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1945.1
