     Colonel Beverley Robinson was born on 11 January 1722.¹ He was the son of John Robinson and Catharine Beverley.² He married Susanna Philipse, daughter of Frederick Philipse and Johanna Brockholst, on 7 July 1747.¹ He died on 9 April 1792 at age 70.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Guides and Pioneers.¹ In the War of American Independence he raised King's Loyal American Regiment, in which four of his sons served.¹

     Frederick Philipse was born in 1698.³ He married Johanna Brockholst.³ He died in 1751.³
