     Thomas Riddell was born on 23 August 1777.1 He was the son of William Riddell and Elizabeth Carre.2 He married Jane Ferrier, daughter of Captain Walter Ferrier, on 31 January 1805.1 He died on 18 April 1826 at age 48.1
     He lived at Camieston, Roxburghshire, Scotland.1

     Maj.-Gen. William Riddell was born on 12 December 1805.1 He was the son of Thomas Riddell and Jane Ferrier.2 He married Margaret Wilkie, daughter of Captain John Wilkie, on 9 April 1837.1 He died on 22 June 1875 at age 69.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He lived at Camieston, Roxburghshire, Scotland.1
