     Robert Ottiwell Ramsay was born on 1 June 1900.1 He was the son of Marmaduke Francis Ramsay and Alice Katherine Angelique Waterfield.2 He married Constance Aileen German, daughter of Major Hugh Bernard German, on 24 February 1937.1 He died on 29 August 1996 at age 96.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1

     Constance Aileen German was the daughter of Major Hugh Bernard German.2 She married Robert Ottiwell Ramsay, son of Marmaduke Francis Ramsay and Alice Katherine Angelique Waterfield, on 24 February 1937.1 She died on 19 October 2002.1
     From 24 February 1937, her married name became Ramsay.1
