     He was Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.).¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel Indian Army WW II (despatches twice), GSO(1) 5th EI Div SEAC.¹ He graduated in 1938 with a Charterhouse and King's College Cambridge Master of Arts (M.A.) ).¹ On 9 February 1945 killed plane crash India.¹
