     He was he was a member of Lloyd's.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 24th Lancers, Royal Armoured Corps.4

     Therese Lillian Frodsham married, firstly, Donald Louis Poole, son of Henry Sanderson Poole and Edith Gorton, in 1899.1 She married, secondly, George Downing Perry in 1924.1 She married, thirdly, Colonel Thomas Herbert Minshall in 1935.1 She died on 25 September 1969.1
     From 1899, her married name became Poole.1 From 1924, her married name became Perry.1 From 1935, her married name became Minshall.1

     Sir Jonathon Espie Porritt, 2nd Bt. was born on 6 July 1950.1 He is the son of Arthur Espie Porritt, Baron Porritt and Kathleen Mary Peck.3 He married Sarah Elizabeth Staniforth, daughter of Malcolm Staniforth, in 1986.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was a teacher between 1975 and 1984 at Inner London Education Authority, London, England.1 He was a member of the council of the Ecology Party.1 He was a member of the council of the Ecology Party between 1982 and 1984.1 He wrote the book Seeing Green – the Politics of Ecology, published 1984.1 He was director of Friends of the Earth between 1984 and 1990.1 He wrote the book Friends of the Earth Handbook, published 1987.1 He wrote the book The Coming of the Greens, published 1988.1 He was the presenter of BBC TV's Where On Earth Are We Going?
