     Right-Admiral Sir Richard Fortescue Phillimore was born on 23 December 1864.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Augustus Phillimore and Harriet Eleanor Fortescue.2 He married Violet Gore Turton, daughter of Henry Hobhouse Turton and Caroline Louisa Daly, on 21 December 1905.2 He died on 8 November 1940 at age 75.1

     Violet Gore Turton was born circa 1877 at Australia.2 She was the daughter of Henry Hobhouse Turton and Caroline Louisa Daly.3,2 She married Right-Admiral Sir Richard Fortescue Phillimore, son of Admiral Sir Augustus Phillimore and Harriet Eleanor Fortescue, on 21 December 1905.3 She died on 31 January 1963 at Droxford, Hampshire, England.1,2
     From 21 December 1905, her married name became Phillimore.1

     Richard Augustus Bagot Phillimore was born on 9 January 1907.1 He was the son of Right-Admiral Sir Richard Fortescue Phillimore and Violet Gore Turton.2 He married Pamela Mary Darlington, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur James Darlington, on 28 June 1948.1 He died on 25 March 2004 at age 97 at Shedfield, Hampshire, England.3
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Hampshire in 1960.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hampshire in 1965.1
