     Mark Palmer was born on 4 February 1917.¹ He was the son of Godfrey Mark Palmer and Eleonora Mary Geddes.² He married Rosemary Aileen Welton, daughter of Edward Welton, on 12 July 1939.¹ He died on 21 February 1995 at age 78.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated abroad.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Middlesex Regiment of the Territorial Army.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Second Battalion of Princess Louise's Regiment.¹ He was awarded the United States Bronze Star.¹

     Rosemary Aileen Welton was the daughter of Edward Welton.² She married Mark Palmer, son of Godfrey Mark Palmer and Eleonora Mary Geddes, on 12 July 1939.¹ She died on 8 January 2000.¹
     From 12 July 1939, her married name became Palmer.¹

     Adrian Mark Palmer was born on 27 May 1944.¹ He was the son of Mark Palmer and Rosemary Aileen Welton.² He died on 2 November 1967 at age 23, killed in a car crash.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹

     Ferelith Alison Palmer was born on 9 December 1946.¹ She is the daughter of Mark Palmer and Rosemary Aileen Welton.² She married, firstly, Ashley Gordon Down, son of John Down, on 21 April 1971.¹ She and Ashley Gordon Down were divorced in 1984.¹ She married, secondly, Hon. James Reginald Drummond, son of John David Drummond, 17th Earl of Perth and Nancy Seymour Finke, in 1988.²
     From 21 April 1971, her married name became Down.¹ From 1988, her married name became Drummond.¹

     John Down lived at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.¹

     Ashley Gordon Down is the son of John Down.² He married Ferelith Alison Palmer, daughter of Mark Palmer and Rosemary Aileen Welton, on 21 April 1971.¹ He and Ferelith Alison Palmer were divorced in 1984.¹

     John Mark Palmer Down was born in 1979.¹ He is the son of Ashley Gordon Down and Ferelith Alison Palmer.²

     Selina Eleanor Down was born in 1975.¹ She is the daughter of Ashley Gordon Down and Ferelith Alison Palmer.²

     Philip Robinson married Aneta Laline Dennis Fisher, daughter of Erskine Arthur Hamilton Fisher.¹
