     Major Cedric de Courcy Hamilton was born on 23 June 1891 at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.¹ He was the son of Arthur Hilhouse Hamilton and Harriet Lilian Haslope.¹ He married Maud Alfreda Chester Taylor circa 1916.¹ He died on 14 August 1939 at age 48.¹
     He was educated between 1907 and 1909 at Felsted School, Felsted, Essex, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Samuel James Paget was born on 13 September 1895.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. Henry Luke Paget and Elma Katie Hoare.² He died on 26 March 1918 at age 22, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 8th Battalion Norfolk Regiment.¹
