      Killed and replaced his kinsman MAELCOBHA, HIGH KING OF IRELAND and Chief of the CENEL CONAILL, 615, after which the two clans were rivals for the northern UI NEILLs' turn in the high-kingship (it alternated with the southern UI NEILL in successiv.1 Killed 628 nr Lough Swilly by Congal Claen.1 His descendants alternated with the CENEL-Mic-EARCA in the succession to the local Kingdom of Ailech till 700.1 ‘The Little.1' Also called ‘The Valorous Sage.1' HIGH KING OF IRELAND 615–28.1
