     Dudley Arthur Nightingale was born on 4 December 1880.1 He was the son of Frederic Charles Nightingale and Katherine Jane Hamilton.2 He married Sylvia Dorothea Bold Hesketh Goodeve, daughter of Louis Arthur Goodeve, on 10 July 1912.1 He died on 13 July 1954 at age 73, without issue.1
     He was Lieutenant Royal Def Corps WW I.1 He graduated in 1902 with a Harrow and Trin College Cambridge Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) ).1

      From 10 July 1912, her married name became Nightingale.
