     Edward Herbert Nightingale was born on 15 April 1821.¹ He was the son of Alexander Malcolm Nightingale and Marianne Beaver.² He married Sophia Blackall, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Robert Blackall, on 18 October 1865.¹ He died on 5 May 1856 at age 35.¹
     He was Captain 23rd Regiment Madras LI.¹

     Sophia Blackall is the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Robert Blackall.² She married Edward Herbert Nightingale, son of Alexander Malcolm Nightingale and Marianne Beaver, on 18 October 1865.¹
     She was married 2nd Lieutenant-Colonel J W Carter.¹ Bengal Army.¹ From 18 October 1865, her married name became Nightingale.

     Emily Grace Nightingale is the daughter of Edward Herbert Nightingale and Sophia Blackall.²

     Manners Randolph Nightingale was born on 30 April 1823.¹ He was the son of Alexander Malcolm Nightingale and Marianne Beaver.² He married Elizabeth Ann Stevens, daughter of Bryan William Stevens, on 15 May 1851.¹ He died on 25 July 1892 at age 69, with a daughter (died unm):.¹
     He was Lieutenant-Colonel Bengal SC.¹

     Elizabeth Ann Stevens was the daughter of Bryan William Stevens.² She married Manners Randolph Nightingale, son of Alexander Malcolm Nightingale and Marianne Beaver, on 15 May 1851.¹ She died in 1889.¹
     She was Northamptonshire.¹ She lived Weston.¹ From 15 May 1851, her married name became Nightingale.

     Charles Alexander Malcolm Nightingale was born on 12 May 1853.¹ He was the son of Manners Randolph Nightingale and Elizabeth Ann Stevens.² He married Caroline Johnson, daughter of W Johnson, in 1878.¹ He died in May 1905.¹

     Caroline Johnson was the daughter of W Johnson.² She married Charles Alexander Malcolm Nightingale, son of Manners Randolph Nightingale and Elizabeth Ann Stevens, in 1878.¹ She died on 18 January 1927.¹
      Surrey.¹ She lived Richmond.¹ From 1878, her married name became Nightingale.
