Robert Monsey Rolfe Rolfe was born on 18 December 1790.1 He was the son of Monsey Rolfe and Jemima Alexander.2 He married Laura Carr, daughter of Thomas William Carr, on 9 October 1845.1 He died on 26 July 1868 at age 77, without issue , when the Barony expired.1
He was barrister Lincoln's , Recorder Bury 1832, King's Counsel (K.C.) 1832, Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Lib) Penryn 1832–39, Slr-Gen 1834 and 1835–39, knighted 1825, a Baron of Exchequer 1839–50, a Commissioner of Gt Seal June-July 1850, a V-Chllr 1850 Inn 1816.1 Norfolk (UK).1 He lived Cranworth.1 1st and last BARON CRANWORTH.1 He graduated in 1812 with a Bury GS, Winchester and Trin College Cambridge (17th Wrangler and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) , Fell Downing College and Master of Arts (M.A.) 1815).1 He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1850.1 On 20 December 1850 so created.1
