     Sir Michael Joseph Nall, 2nd Bt. was born on 6 October 1921.1 He is the son of Sir Joseph Nall, 1st Bt. and Edith Elizabeth Francklin.2 He married Angela Loveday Hanbury Coryton, daughter of Air Chief Marshal Sir William Alec Coryton, on 3 April 1951.1 He died on 8 September 2001 at age 79.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander between 1950 and 1961 in the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Nall, of Hoveringham, co. Nottingham [U.K., 1954] on 2 May 1958.1 He was director of Singer & Friedlander.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Nottinghamshire between 1970 and 1989.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire in 1971.1 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire between 1989 and 1991.2
