Sir Tristram Tempest Ricketts, 4th Bt. was born on 10 June 1865. He was the son of Sir Robert Tempest Ricketts, 3rd Bt. and Amelia Helen Steuart. He married Mabel Ethel MacGregor, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir George Hall MacGregor, on 24 April 1902. He died on 23 June 1909 at age 44.
