     Lt.-Col. Tredenham Fitzherbert Carlyon was born on 3 July 1841.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Edward Carlyon and Anna Maria Spry.1 He was baptised on 3 August 1841 at Truro, Cornwall, England.2 He married Margaret Ella Wilson.3 He married Sophia Birmingham, daughter of John Birmingham, on 26 March 1872 at Holy Trinity, Dover, Kent, England.3 He died on 2 December 1922 at age 81.1

     Thomas Benyon was born in August 1763 at Dearnford, Shropshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Samuel Benyon and Lydia Yate.1 He married Jane Daltern, daughter of Joseph Daltern, in March 1798 at St. George, Liverpool, Lancashire, England.1
     He held the office of Burgess of Shrewsbury in 1796.3 He lived at New Grange Hall, Leeds, Yorkshire, England.3

     Jane Daltern was born at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Daltern.2 She married Thomas Benyon, son of Samuel Benyon and Lydia Yate, in March 1798 at St. George, Liverpool, Lancashire, England.1 She died on 16 June 1828.3
     From March 1798, her married name became Benyon.1

     Samuel Benyon was born circa 1716.2 He was the son of John Benyon and Mary Ogden.1 He married Lydia Yate, daughter of Thomas Yate and Elizabeth Collyer, on 26 December 1759 at Whitchurch, Shropshire, England.1,2 He died on 8 January 1791.2
     He was a practising barrister-at-law.2 He lived at Great Ash, Shropshire, England.2

     From 26 December 1759, her married name became Benyon.1
