     David Murray, 4th of Ochtertyre was the son of Patrick Murray, 3rd of Ochtertyre and Elizabeth Charteris.2 He married Agnes Hay, daughter of unknown Hay of Megginch.1 He died in 1547.1

     He gained the rank of Major in the 13th Rajputs, Indian Army.1
