     Elizabeth Mowbray was born in 1823.2 She was the daughter of George Isaac Mowbray and Elizabeth Gray.3 She married Sir John Robert Mowbray, 1st Bt. on 19 August 1847.1 She died on 22 April 1899), only s of Robert Stribling Cornish, of Exeter, by Marianne, daughter and heiress of John Powning, of Hills Court, Exeter.1
     She was Member of Parliament (M.P.) (C) Durham and Oxford U 1868–99, JAG 1858–59 and 1866–68 in 1853.1

     Sir John Robert Mowbray, 1st Bt. married Elizabeth Mowbray, daughter of George Isaac Mowbray and Elizabeth Gray, on 19 August 1847.1 He died on 16 February 1899.1
     He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) County Durham.1 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He was Chartered Accountant (C.A.) Berkshire.1 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.).1 His married name became John Robert Cornish. He was also known as 1st Baronet (UK) [U.K. Life Peer].1 He was Master of Arts (M.A.) and Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) Oxon (b on 3 June 1815.1 On 26 July 1847 roy licence.1 On 3 May 1880 so created.1

     Sir Robert Gray Cornish Mowbray, 2nd Bt. was born on 21 May 1850.1 He was the son of Sir John Robert Mowbray, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mowbray.2 He died on 23 July 1916 at age 66, unmarried.1
     He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) and Chartered Accountant (C.A.) Berkshire.1 He graduated with a Eton and Balliol College Oxford Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was also known as 2nd Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1 He was Fell All Souls, Chm Berkshire QS and CC, Member of Parliament (M.P.) Prestwich and Lambeth 1900–06, barrister Inner Temple in 1886.1

     Reverend Sir Edmund George Lionel Mowbray, 4th Bt. was born on 26 June 1859.1 He was the son of Sir John Robert Mowbray, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mowbray.2 He married Caroline Elwes Field, daughter of Lt.-Gen. George T. Field, on 27 January 1891.1 He died on 2 February 1919 at age 59.1
     He graduated with a New College Oxford Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was also known as 4th Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1 He was ordained , Rector Durley Hampshire 1890–92, Vicar St Bartholomew, Charlton-in-Dover, 1892–1906, Freeland Oxford 1908–09 and St Michael and All Angels Brighton 1909–17 in 1883.1

      Her married name became Cruttwell.
