     John Morris was born on 9 September 1850.1 He was the son of Sir John Armine Morris, 3rd Bt. and Catherine MacDonald.2 He married Jessie Fowler, daughter of William Fowler, in 1881.1 He died on 28 March 1916 at age 65.1
     He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the Welsh Division, Royal Artillery.1

     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Morris, of Clasemont, co. Glamorgan [U.K., 1806] on 29 September 1937.1
