     William Drury Kerr was born on 8 April 1792.1 He was the son of William Kerr, 6th Marquess of Lothian.1 He was baptised on 16 April 1792 at Paddington, London, England.1 He married Claudine Palmer, daughter of John Palmer, on 6 May 1815 at Calcutta, India.1 He died on 13 July 1817 at age 25.1 He was buried on 13 July 1817 at Calcutta, India.1
     He was a practising Writer in 1807.1
