     Dr. Montagu Lubbock was born on 24 May 1842.1 He was the son of Sir John William Lubbock, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Hotham.1 He married, firstly, Lora Hotham, daughter of Captain George Hotham, on 14 November 1872.1 He married, secondly, Nora Macnamara, daughter of Nottidge Charles Macnamara, on 1 February 1888.1 He died on 8 April 1925 at age 82.1
     Dr. Montagu Lubbock was invested as a Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.).1 He graduated with the degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.).1

     Lora Hotham was the daughter of Captain George Hotham.1 She married Dr. Montagu Lubbock, son of Sir John William Lubbock, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Hotham, on 14 November 1872.1 She died on 1 August 1882.1
     From 14 November 1872, her married name became Lubbock.1
