James Milner, 1st Baron Milner of Leeds was born on 12 August 1889.2 He was the son of James Henry Milner and Elizabeth Tate.2 He married Lois Tinsdale Brown, daughter of Thomas Brown, on 10 February 1917.2 He died on 16 July 1967 at age 77.2
