William Macpherson was born in 1756.1 He was the son of John Macpherson and Margaret Rogers.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Stout, daughter of Captain Joseph Stout.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth White, daughter of Rt. Rev. White White.1 He died on 5 November 1813.1
