     Hilda Lardner was the daughter of William George Lardner.2 She married Lt.-Col. Balfour Macnaghten, son of Alfred Hill Macnaghten and Arabella Maria Betts, on 8 February 1902.1 She died on 26 November 1958.1
     From 8 February 1902, her married name became Macnaghten.

     Lt.-Col. Richard Percival Hawksley Burbury was born on 1 April 1906.2 He married Daphne Macnaghten, daughter of Lt.-Col. Balfour Macnaghten and Hilda Lardner, on 1 March 1940.1 He died on 8 June 1944 at age 38, killed in action.1
     He lived at Yorkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the 12th Royal Lancers.1 He fought in the First World War.1
