     Hugh Rose Ross was born on 31 May 1854. He was the son of Colonel George William Holmes Ross and Adelaide Lucy Davidson. He died circa 1879, killed in action.
     Hugh Rose Ross fought in the Second Afghan War circa 1879.

     Brig.-Gen. Walter Charteris Ross was born on 5 August 1857. He was the son of Colonel George William Holmes Ross and Adelaide Lucy Davidson. He married, firstly, May Stewart on 8 June 1887. He married, secondly, Gertrude May Gathorne on 5 August 1897. He died in 1928.

Peter Robert Willoughby, son of Gilbert Henry Heathcote-Drummond-Willoughby, 1st Earl of Ancaster and Lady Evelyn Elizabeth Gordon, on 4 June 1913. She married Captain William Duncan Phipps on 31 July 1917.
     Her married name became Willoughby. Her married name became Phipps.
